In 2018 QV set out to educate the general public on skin conditions and offer advice on talking to people with sensitive skin conditions. From this ‘A Hand To Hold’ campaign was launched which set out to help beat the stigma behind skin conditions both physically and emotionally, and show people that QV is not only a product but is a brand that is here tohelp and support.
We also know that everyday tasks, such as bathtime can be difficult for people with sensitive skin conditions and that many are in a constant discomfort or pain. For the person themselves, or a parent treating a child, it can be an extremely upsetting experience
The campaign discusses issues of self confidence and low self esteem, along with the coping mechanisms of people who have a skin condition and offers advice on how to help people with these problems by working in conjunction with charities (National Eczema Society, Scottish Eczema Outreach, Ichthyosis along with supplying HCP’s with relevant materials to enable them to give their patients a hand to hold
